Pilot Proficiency Program

In October we were off to Santa Maria for the
MAPA Safety Foundation Pilot Proficiency Program.

25 Mooneys flew into Santa Maria airport and
parked on the ramp right next to the hotel.

Donn flew about four hours with Gordon Holm, CFII.
Gordon is a former Marine pilot and has owned his Mooney since 1972.

After two and a half days of classes and flight instruction we did some
sight seeing around Santa Maria. We flew over Santa Ynez, Morro Bay,
and Paso Robles, then stopped at San Luis Obispo for lunch.
